Exploring Philly // Girard

This school year, I have been trying to explore Philadelphia a lot more. Last week, I went to Girard for brunch with a friend. Fishtown is an up-and-coming (read: recently gentrified) neighborhood that has a lot of new really great restaurants.

Girard is a little piece of sunshine on the corner of Girard street. The walls are bright yellow, the ceiling is fun zebra print, and all the shelves are full of succulents (my favorite!)

The food is fresh and delicious, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable (especially considering they include tip!). Overall, Girard is a great little neighborhood brunch spot.
